Comm-unity

The black hand over the white fabric and the white hand over the black fabric represent the polarities of society coming together to reveal a deeper universal message. We exist in a world of duality and we find harmony by merging into a common unity aka "comm-unity". This greater unity is symbolized in the image of the cosmos. This cosmic perspective is where differences are dissolved and problems become insignificant. Moreover, the mandala represents the harmonic and symmetric organization of energy, aka "health". Mandalas cross culturally reference connection, purpose, and spiritual realization which are all expressions stemming from or leading to health.
