¿Qué será del Caribe en el futuro?

¿Qué será del Caribe? highlights the presence of Caribbean heritage in Wynwood through Taíno roots and tropical flora from the region. Each flower and fruit depicted in the mural is identified by its original Indigenous Taíno name, emphasizing language as a form of cultural preservation.

At the same time, the piece poses a reflective question about the future of Caribbean identity in the United States, especially within the ongoing political tension surrounding immigration. By merging ancestral symbolism with contemporary street aesthetics, the mural invites viewers to rethink how Caribbean culture survives, adapts, and transforms across borders.
