The Time Depot

This art deco influenced tram and rail homage mural was painted by It Stands Out in Footscray recently. This nostalgic mural celebrates the old tram depot, a bygone era of trains and trams and the immediate busy local rail and transport junction of Footscray that has been a gateway to Melbourne’s western suburbs for many years.

This mural was produced as part of the StreetWORKS program - a partnership between Maribyrnong City Council and the Victorian State Government to enhance Footscray’s CBD with street art projects.
