Architectural Fragment

Description

“Architectural Fragment” is a sculpture by artist Petrus Spronk, sculpted from bluestone. 

It is installed as if it is buried in the pavement outside the State Library Victoria at the corner of Swanston Street and La Trobe Street in Melbourne. 

The sculpture was commissioned for the Swanston Street Walk Public Art Project in 1992 and installed on 12 January 1993.
