Widely credited to be the originator of stencil art, Blek Le Rat is best known for his rats, symbolising the urban environment as “the only free animal in the city.” Spot this Blek Le Rat stencil on Commercial Road in Prahran.

The stencil has been there for quite a few years and has survived well thanks to the protective Perspex cover. But for this reason, it can be rather difficult to photograph, so be prepared to try different options and wait for parked cars to move to avoid reflection.
