The Carrot Man
Description
Tribute to one of Melbourne’s most recognised and loveable characters - Nathan, The Carrot Man 🚶♂️🥕.
Nathan walks inner-city Melbourne holding a giant papier-mâché carrot with green plastic leaves.
The reason for carrying around giant things in public (which have previously included opp shop- sourced giant turnip, giant squid and a giant octopus) is simple – to make people smile 😀.
In one instance, Nathan appeared with his giant carrot at a political protest in Melbourne, mingling with the crowd in the centre of the chaos. Carrot Man is bringing smiles to faces where ever he appears. The world needs more people like Nathan!
Stencil art by the lovely @vkm_street for @graffstreet_projects in Blacksmiths Way.

Hi, my name is Neda. What started off as exploring the street art during lunch time, has over time turned into an obsession. ‘Going for a drive’ or ‘a bit of a walk’ would take me to parts of this beautiful country that I would otherwise never see. Street art hunting has become my fitness regime and the lens through which I explore the world. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a thriving street art scene and a group of dedicated hunters in this city. Let us show you around?
