Flourishing

María Peña is a Colombian visual artist currently based in Melbourne. This artwork was inspired by an Agnes Varda quote: ‘if we opened up, people will find landscapes’. It was painted for the 2023 Big Picture Festival. 

It can be found outside the Bayside shopping centre, on the wall of the now closed Myer on Beach Street.
