Fox and stone marten.
The Battenbroektunnel in Walem will be transformed into an ecotunnel within a few years to allow animals to cross the highway safely. Beautiful graffiti works of foxes and stone martens by artist Dzia precede the work.
The mural is part of the artistic project Animalinas, which symbolizes the collaboration between Natuurpunt, the Flemish government, the City of Mechelen and the surrounding municipalities to expand and connect nature.
