Onder het toeziend oog van curators Gijs Vanhee en Jonas Tuch werd het tweede luik van Mechelen Muurt overgoten met een lokale saus. In samenwerking met Stad Mechelen lanceerde het duo een oproep naar artistieke Mechelaars.

Uit 24 inzendingen gaf de jury abstract kunstenaar Alexis Stoelen een muur cadeau. Op de hoek van de Lange Heergracht met de Blokstraat bracht hij een mural aan waarin sommige voorbijgangers een olifant herkennen en anderen een verkeerslicht.

Under the watchful eye of curators Gijs Vanhee and Jonas Tuch, the second part of Mechelen Muurt was topped with a local sauce. In collaboration with Stad Mechelen, the duo launched a call for artistic Mechelen residents.

From 24 entries, the jury gave abstract artist Alexis Stoelen a wall. On the corner of Lange Heergracht and Blokstraat, he created a mural in which some passers-by recognise an elephant and others a traffic light.
