Musée Muys likes to create tiny figurines. She uses them to make miniature dioramas that fit in your palm. Just for the sake of Chromana, she traded her tiny detail brushes for much larger ones and painted herself as a mouse (which is a play on her namesake, "muys") on an electrical box. The design is a nod to the lush, green "nest" in which she grew up. Spending much of her time in the garden, she had happy adventures and studied picture books about mice and other small characters. Today, she has cabinets full of beautiful children's books: "Young characters continue to inspire me, because they take me back to the time when I made new discoveries every day. Maybe that's why I enjoy working with children so much. Wonder is a natural thing for them. It is a great honor for me to have the electrical cabinet near a school."
