GRAFRIFI's abstract work is a nod to his experience in the graffiti scene. The colors pop in an almost aggressive way, and the line work seems to jump off the electricity boxes. The rough stripes are placed with speed and precision. Sometimes they are wafer thin, sometimes they puff up into clouds of mist. The movement of the whole piece follows the street that descends to the Dijle River. Paradoxically, this work both fits in the location and contrasts with the otherwise gray street. It's calculated brutality.
