Geometry of courage

Created in October 2021 in Mashhad, this large-scale mural portrays a young man whose courage and dedication left a lasting impression on his community. The artwork uses the colors of the Iranian flag to symbolize identity, sacrifice, and national spirit, while the blue tones above represent the sky — a metaphor for freedom, hope, and transcendence.

Designed in a modern geometric style, the mural incorporates vibrant colors and triangular facets to express strength, clarity, and the fractured yet resilient nature of memory. These triangular patterns are inspired by traditional Iranian architectural ornamentation. Painted entirely by hand with acrylic and brush, the piece reflects both the vulnerability and the enduring spirit found in stories of youth and bravery.
