Karel Plicka

The second mural in Martin: from the wall of a block of flats, Karel Plicka is looking at you. This photographer, film-maker and etnographer of early 20th century was working at Slovak National Museum in Martin, too and that´s why the idea to portray him was a logical choice. Thanks to him we know thousands of traditional songs, fairytales and folk costumes.
