Eliptic spectrums

The mural is an experiment in light and form, a continuous exploration of the artist's gestural practice that allows lines and shapes to discover themselves. The work evolved as a site-specific piece built on the micro and macro elements of the composition and with a focus on balance and energy between forms. The work presents itself as a journey of signs, like a showcase of a process that ultimately arrives at a transparent image made up of overlapping layers. Color forms an interweaving of light and shadow, inspired by elements of nature and the reflections created by moving objects. Through the repetition of color gradients, from dark to light and from light to dark, there is ultimately an attempt to bring a sense of depth and movement.
