“Supernova” is a mural over 20 meters high by Brazilian street artist Alex Senna on the facade of the Uhlandschule in Mannheim-Neckarstadt-Ost. The black-and-white mural was completed in one week and has been part of the students’ lives since August 2024. The focal point is a girl with a backpack, depicted in Senna’s characteristic comic-book style. The work explores the freedom of childhood, identity, and the power of dreams and hope. The title “Supernova” symbolizes an explosion of the future, imagination, and positive possibilities.
