Painted this piece to remind the people that even the small acts have the power to dispel darkness, and that we have to keep the the flame of hope burning no matter how dark and fractured everything around may seem. The piece invites the viewer to reflect on vulnerability, strength, resilience and the fact that each one of us is the keeper of the light. Within.
