Power to the people

"People, neighbors; we need to identify ourselves in our city and more specifically in those places where human exchange still takes place between needs or leisure and products and services. That is why it is important to highlight that human power still prevails in physical marketplaces. In a society besieged by digital consumption, where there is no certainty that what you are buying is real, a neighborhood's commercial network becomes a cultural bastion to be defended. My proposal consists of creating generic, non-personal portraits on the facades of local businesses where human interaction is a priority for their development. Painted with strokes, a common gesture in human beings. As a sign of the prevalence of the physical over the digital, as a cry from communities of people in the face of globalization. As a seal that certifies that neighborhood culture and the power of each person to act are part of the battle for the hegemony of the commercial model of our future"
