The piece utilizes a bold graphic design very usual in modern illustrations . It relies heavily on thick, dark black outlines to define the characters, paired with highly stylized anatomy—such as the drastically elongated fingers, exaggerated sharp fingernails, and flowing, minimalist hair lines.

The colors are flat, and contrasting mainly between the warm pink background and the auburn hair, and the cool, vivid green of the fingernails which results in a high visual impact
