On 28 February, the 1st Dominican Mural Route in Spain was inaugurated in the Tetuán district. This is a project of the Activando Cultura Foundation, whose mission is to promote Dominican culture internationally.

The foundation brings together a group of prominent Dominican and Spanish artists, who have focused their vision and creativity on developing 12 murals that recreate the Dominican identity and the link with the host country. The result is this 1st Dominican Mural Route. Through 12 talented visual artists, the Plaza del Poeta Leopoldo de Luis in the Tetuán District, Cuatro Caminos sector, will be renovated.
