Trush ressurects history

It is a symbolic connection between the "Sphinxkwartier" and the new "Frontenpark": the song thrush on the wall of the iconic white building next to the "Muziekgieterij". The 'mural', the mural, is now completely finished and contrasts colorfully with the former industrial area of the "Sphinxkwartier."

The graffiti artists Collin van der Sluijs and Maastricht Street Art were inspired by the factory history. For example, photos of ceramic shards from the Sphinx factory serve as a backdrop from which the bird rises. The song thrush then stands for the vibrant music scene as a reference to the site with the stage of the Muziekgieterij and its extension in the form of festivals and other events to the Frontenpark.
