The courage of exil

This mural highlights the diversity of chosen or forced migratory routes and the numerous difficulties encountered, both during the journey and once arrived at destination.

It pays tribute to those who are struggling to build a better future, as well as to all the people who have disappeared on this journey.

Gaspardmariotte chose to illustrate this theme through the story of Ali (alioudadoprsosanden), a young Guinean who traveled 7,893 kilometers across six countries before arriving in France.

Today settled in Lyon, he continues his studies with the hope of developing agricultural projects in his country of origin and elsewhere in the world.

This story is just one example among thousands of others.

muz.chaudimedia relied on photographs from his personal archives, integrated into the mural in order to cross different stories and give a collective dimension to this tribute.

To the people who are experiencing these departures and their courage.
