Mga Tagapagtanggol / The Guardians

Artist Anna Dugan, also known as Annadidathing, is a first-generation Filipino American muralist based in Salem, MA. In 2018, Annadidathing painted a triptych of her mom, grandmother, and herself on Mount Vernon Street in Lynn, her first permanent public art mural. Fast forward to the Beyond Walls Tour 2022, Anna knew she wanted to pay homage to the first mural she produced in Lynn. In just five days, Anna completed a magnificent mural located under an MBTA underpass in Downtown Lynn. Her mural represents her Filipino culture and serves as an image of power, femininity, and protection.
