Il Pastore

In the mountains of Lozzi, I had the privilege of connecting with the rural heart of Corsica — with those who live each day immersed in nature and its ancient rhythms.
This mural is a tribute to them — to the shepherds, silent guardians of a deep bond with the land and their animals, who are not merely tools of labor, but beings to be respected, protected, and loved.

In this encounter, I found sincerity, warmth, and a genuine sense of community. “Il Pastore” seeks to reflect a fragment of that simple and powerful truth.
