Paddington in Peru – Welcome to London

Description

The mural of the image is a vibrant mural of the Paddington Bear located on Sutton Walk, near Waterloo Station in London.

It was designed by Peruvian artist Gisella Stapleton and painted by Global Street Art.

It commemorates the appointment of Paddington as the first Welcome Ambassador of Visit London, coinciding with the release of the film "Paddington in Peru".

The mural incorporates elements of Latin American folklore and Andean art, mixing them with London iconography, such as the Clock Tower.

It includes a famous quote from the character: "Mrs. Brown says that in London everyone is different and that means that anyone can fit in"

I started painting with spray cans in 1999, and I liked it so much that I wanted to learn how to use it to create art, to be able to decorate streets all over the world, and thanks to the effort and perseverance, today my work is muralism with graffiti.
