La artista ha querido representar la libertad y la convivencia, utilizando algunos elementos como las especies endémicas originarias de Colombia, como por ejemplo el jaguar, el colibrí o las mariposas, conviviendo con la figura de la palanquera, que al día de hoy en Cartagena de Indias aún se encuentran algunas palanqueras, pero que vienen de un pueblo llamado San Basilio de Palenque, el primer pueblo libre de esclavos en Colombia.

The artist has wanted to represent freedom and coexistence, using some elements such as the endemic species native to Colombia, such as the jaguar, the hummingbird or the butterflies, coexisting with the figure of the palanquera, which today in Cartagena de In the Indies there are still some palanqueras, but they come from a town called San Basilio de Palenque, the first slave-free town in Colombia.
