In Belarusian folklore and poetry, the Milky Way is not just an astronomical phenomenon, but a symbol of the road. It is popularly called the "bird road" - the path along which birds fly to warmer climes, and the souls of their ancestors go to the world of the gods. The woman with milk on the mural is a symbol of the beginning, fertility and the connection of generations. She represents Mother Earth, who gives life. On our mural, the milk from her water lily turns into a road for birds and a heavenly river among a cornflower field — a symbol of endless life, tradition and harmony.
