Kitsune Jolene
This colorful work is by Belgian artist Kitsune Jolene (Jolien de Waele). She often creates impressive murals inspired by women, animals, and nature. You could recognize her work by her characteristic color palette with lots of pinks and warm tones. This particular mural is based on the history of the city of Lelystad. The woman depicted carries a bowl with Lilies in her hands: a visual metaphor for a city where people took control of the sea and with that action created their own environment.

Made possible by Writer's Block Murals.
