The City of Leerdam
Description
A long mural, depicting highlights of the city of Leerdam. Details show the glass factory (Leerdam is famous for its crystal and glass objects), the church and the city hall.
This work was designed by Dutch artist Thea Zweije (Rotterdam, 1953). More than 50 people volunteered to help in its execution, the youngest being 3 years old and the oldest 73. It dates from the summer of 2019.
