De glasblazers (the glass blowers)
Description
A faithful rendering of a painting by the Dutch artist Herman Heyenbrock (1871-1948), reminiscent of the heritage of Leerdam as the City of Glass. There is still an active glass factory in this city, there are artists who work with glass, both figuratively and abstract, and demonstrations of glass blowing are given on a regular basis
