Description
L’idée de la fresque est de rouvrir le dialogue avec la vieille ville, la cité Plantagenêt, en jouant sur la proximité avec la collégiale Saint-Pierre-la-Cour, ce qui a nécessité de travailler avec les architectes des Bâtiments de France.
On peut voir un visage et une main enveloppant une ville suspendue aux maisons à pans de bois du centre ville, le tout dans les tons sépia. Cette idée de monde suspendu correspond aux univers des deux artistes, Il y a une connexion évidente entre eux.
The idea behind the mural is to reopen the dialogue with the old town, the Plantagenet city, by playing on its proximity to the Saint-Pierre-la-Cour collegiate church, which required working with the architects of the Bâtiments de France (French National Heritage Buildings).
One can see a face and a hand embracing a city suspended above the half-timbered houses of the town center, all rendered in sepia tones. This idea of a suspended world resonates with the artistic universes of both artists; there is a clear connection between them.
