Reaching the Light

The 4 characters, hands outstretched towards the sky, symbolize common elevation (the search for light). Their gesture expresses a common desire to work together to achieve a common goal. The pyramidal composition of the scene supports this feeling of unity.

The representation of the woman in the center, falling but held by another, symbolizes the need to support each other in our individual struggles, it highlights the importance of mutual aid and union to achieve a common goal.

I draw my inspiration from the paintings of the great masters to try to create a link with the history of art and the struggles that have marked our collective journey. This reference to the past is a way of emphasizing the importance of building on previous lessons and achievements to build a united and prosperous future.
