Wuna’s colourful mural is located beneath the Pont d’Ardon in Laon, France, bringing contemporary street art into the urban environment. The work combines a lively figurative approach with lettering and graphic elements. A stylised raccoon is among the recurring motifs associated with the artist, while the combination of characters and lettering is central to her artistic practice.

Wuna is a French-Canadian graffiti artist who discovered graffiti culture in 2001. Working as a self-taught artist, she initially focused on characters before expanding her practice to include lettering. She is a member of Few & Far, an international female-led street art collective, and has participated in festivals, collaborative projects and mural painting initiatives around the world. Alongside her artistic practice, she works in illustration and graphic design and leads cultural and artistic workshops.

The mural is associated with Laon’s Festival International des Arts Urbains, an initiative that has gradually transformed the city into an open-air gallery featuring works by artists from around the world.
