Artwork created for the second edition “FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DES ARTS URBAINS” 2023

Self-taught and with an unclassifiable style, Iemza took his first steps in vacant lots before moving into Parisian galleries. His graphic universe is distinguished by incisive black lines, a retro-futuristic aesthetic and a personal mythology steeped in mystery. Through his rich compositions, he deliberately sows confusion and challenges conventions, making his art as intriguing as it is captivating. Between abstraction and figuration, his work depicts a unique world where reality and imagination intertwine in a fascinating coherence.

The work depicts Medusa, Bubbles Town, hot air balloons, blue birds and a drunken boat. The artist exchanged ideas daily with the teachers and children of the Bois de Breuil primary school.
