This art work was made to celebrate the National Day of the Sea (Dia Nacional do Mar) on 16 November 2021. It is a symbol for awareness of the community for the preservation of the ocean. It was created by the Municipality of Lagos together with the parish council São Gonçalo and SOMAR (the Marine Conservation and Bioacoustics Association)
