HardZand en HardZand Lite

Tijdens het laatste weekend van augustus 2025 vond de eerste editie van HardZand plaats, een urban culture festival georganiseerd door de culturele jongerenorganisatie Kapow en de gemeente Koksijde.
In de voetgangerstunnel Ster Der Zee was er een graffitijam waaraan artiesten zoals Kymo One, Steye Vermunicht, Kiuw, la.kus en ARRF the wolf deelnamen.

Op vrijdag 3 juli 2026 vond met HardZand Lite een zomerse, kleinschalige versie van het HardZand-festival plaats. Hierbij lag de focus op urban art in de publieke ruimte. Zo werd aan het basketbalplein in Koksijde-Dorp een grote muurschildering gerealiseerd door kunstenaar La.Kus.

During the last weekend of August 2025, the first edition of HardZand took place, an urban culture festival organised by the cultural youth organisation Kapow and the municipality of Koksijde.
A graffiti jam was held in the Ster Der Zee pedestrian tunnel, featuring artists such as Kymo One, Steye Vermunicht, Kiuw, la.kus and ARRF the wolf.

On Friday 3 July 2026, HardZand Lite – a summery, small-scale version of the HardZand festival – took place. The focus was on urban art in public spaces. For example, a large mural was created by the artist La.Kus at the basketball court in Koksijde-Dorp.
