Kimba Silo Art

The Kimba Silos are officially the 11th silo to be completed in the Australian Silo Art Trail and they were completed in September 2017.

Kamba is a small wheat farming town in South Australia that has the honour of being located “half way across Australia”. Now it also has the honour of having a fantastic painted silo also right in the middle of it’s town. This is a great draw card for the town as many travellers pass through when travelling from one side of the country to the other.

This silo was painted by Melbourne born artist Cam Scale. It depicts a young child in a wheat field at sunset. Cam has certainly turned a blank canvas into something that is just truly spectacular.
