Airag, the fermented mare's milk, is an ancient beverage deeply rooted in Mongolian culture. Despite its ancient origins, it's often sold in repurposed plastic bottles and jugs, a perfect metaphor for my experience in Mongolia.
The sight of roadside vendors selling airag in these modern containers struck a chord with me. It beautifully illustrated the blend of tradition and modernity that defines this country. This unique juxtaposition inspired my mural, reflecting a personal journey of discovering a land where past and present coexist harmoniously.
