"Lakhey is a mythical demon worshiped as a protector in Newari communities. Lakhey changed himself to protect those who feared him; exemplifying that we can choose to become a better version of ourselves. He is ferocious, yet playful. It would have been fun to have Lakhey as a friend…so I created one. This is a way into his world."
