Kamel Gonzalez is a member of the Boruca indigenous tribe of Costa Rica. The Boruca's are a tribe surrounded by nature. They live off of the plants and things they produce, and they create art to sustain their way of life. I am the Jaguar is a representation of the free spirit of the Boruca people and their mystic culture.
