Cultura Moche

Durante un viaje a Cusco, descubrí las impresionantes vasijas de la cultura Moche en el Museo de Arte Precolombino. Me impactaron profundamente y sentí la necesidad de llevar un pedacito de esa historia milenaria a la calle, transformándola en un mural.

Iquique, mi ciudad natal, está ubicada entre el océano y el desierto más árido del mundo, en la región de Tarapacá - Chile. Como artista nacido y criado en este lugar, sentí el deseo de retribuir a mi comunidad a través del arte, interviniendo con pintura las humildes calles del barrio para mejorar el entorno y acercar el arte público a quienes más lo necesitan.

During a trip to Cusco, I discovered the impressive Moche culture vessels at the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. They deeply impacted me, and I felt the need to bring a piece of that ancient history to the streets, transforming it into a mural.

Iquique, my hometown, is located between the ocean and the driest desert in the world, in the Tarapacá region of Chile. As an artist born and raised in this place, I felt the desire to give back to my community through art, intervening with paint on the humble streets of the neighborhood to improve the environment and bring public art to those who need it most.
