Deow is one of NZ's best known street artists who sticks to his graffiti roots, he is a full time artist and is the Artistic director of the South Sea Spray street art festivals throughout the region.
This work on the south facing wall of the Kelvin Hotel is NZ's largest mural at 33 metres. This piece shows the new and changing face of Invercargill and also the four seasons that are typical to experience on the same day in Southland. NZ's southern most city is embracing cultural diversity and Deow is showing this from the greyscale flowers being overwhelmed with colour. You can view this piece from Kelvin Street and Tay Street also the hotel carpark gives a better view of the gumboots.
