The Watcher

The 'Monument at the Harbor' (aka the watcher) is a bronze statue of a standing male figure with his gaze fixed on the sea. The man carries a storm lantern in his right hand. The monument is a powerful symbol of all fishermen who have to do hard work at sea. The male figure seems to harbor hope for survivors against his better judgement. The statue is in homour of all those fishermen who lost their lives at sea.
