Ya solo queda Esperar
Víctor Romero has made a work that "symbolizes the precaution" that all citizens should take to prevent fires from breaking out.
Urban artist from Huelva, Víctor Romero, also known as KONESTILO, has impregnated the walls of a lot in the capital of the devastating flames that have devastated the province in recent weeks.
Bollullos, Hinojos, Valverde, Lepe, El Rompido, Cartaya, Moguer, Almonte, Villalba, El Cerro de Andévalo, and now also Minas de Riotinto and El Campillo. All of these Huelva municipalities have already suffered the virulence of the flames so far this summer.
For this reason, this urban artist has created a work full of feeling. “Ideas began to arise from how new life was sprouting from the earth and how the black flames continued to advance among so many areas of color,” says the young man from Huelva. Above all, what has caught his attention the most is “the liveliness of the flames in the fire that has affected the Doñana area. “A little piece of our hearts have been broken by all of us in Huelva because of this fire.”
For this reason, in his work a triangle of warnings is shown that "symbolizes caution" and within it is "the burning flora and fauna." "Black symbolizes what is burned and the embers," says Víctor.
In the lower area of the work made by this young man you can read 'Now we just have to wait...', “a message of awareness because we have a very important heritage and due to the negligence of some or the error of several, everything is as it is”, comments the artist from Huelva, who emphasizes that “the fields and forests must be taken care of and we must work on the education of everyone so that things like this are not repeated again.”
The work is made with different sprays, it is located on Molino de la Vega Avenue, next to Santiago Apóstol Street (in front of the old bowling alley).
But this is not the only work of Víctor KONESTILO. A few meters from this work of the fires that have recently devastated the province, there is a United States flag with a giant padlock in the middle. And in the little stars of the US flag, where the member states should be found, there are small padlocks, motivated by “the last elections in the United States, with the arrival of Donald Trump to the presidency.”

Artista urbano, onubense, Víctor Romero, también conocido como KONESTILO, ha impregnado las paredes de un solar en la capital de las devastadoras llamas que han asolado a la provincia en las últimas semanas.
Bollullos, Hinojos, Valverde, Lepe, El Rompido, Cartaya, Moguer, Almonte, Villalba, El Cerro de Andévalo, y ahora también Minas de Riotinto y El Campillo. Todos estos municipios onubenses ya han sufrido en lo que va de verano, la virulencia de las llamas.
Por ello, este artista urbano ha realizado una obra cargada de sentimiento. “Me empezaron a surgir ideas por cómo brotaba la nueva vida de la tierra y cómo seguían avanzando las llamas negras entre tantas zonas de color”, dice el joven onubense. Sobre todo lo que más le ha llamado la atención es “la vivacidad de las llamas en el incendio que ha afectado al entorno de Doñana. A todos los onubenses se nos ha roto un trocito de corazón por culpa de este fuego”.
Por ello, en su obra se muestra un triángulo de advertencias que "simboliza la precaución” y dentro de éste se encuentra “la flora y la fauna ardiendo”. “El negro simboliza lo quemado y las brasas”, cuenta Víctor.
En la zona inferior de la obra realizada por este joven se puede leer ‘Ya sólo queda esperar…’, “un mensaje de concienciación porque tenemos un patrimonio muy importante y por la negligencia de alguno o error de varios, está todo cómo está”, comenta el artista onubense, quien enfatiza en que “a los campos y bosques hay que cuidarlos y hay que trabajar en la educación de todos para que cosas así no se vuelvan a repetir”.
La obra está elaborada con diferentes espray, está situada en la avenida Molino de la Vega, junto a la calle Santiago Apóstol (enfrente de la antigua bolera).
Pero esta no es la única obra de Víctor KONESTILO. A escasos metros de esta obra de los incendios que últimamente han asolado a la provincia, se encuentra una bandera de Estados Unidos con un candado gigante en medio. Y en las estrellitas de la bandera EEUU, donde se deberían encontrar los estados miembros, se encuentran pequeños candaditos, motivado por “las últimas elecciones vividas en Estados Unidos, con la llegada a la presidencia de Donald Trump”.
El arte urbano en Huelva se ha puesto de moda en los últimos años.
