B3aks of Paradise

A notable piece of street art created by the late artist Beak McFlaps. The work was part of POW! WOW! Hawaii 2017, a week-long festival that brought together street artists and musicians to transform the area's urban landscape with new murals and installations.

The art piece features a striking and beautifully detailed bird-of-paradise flower, a subject the artist frequently used in their work. The mural is a testament to Beak's distinctive style, which combines vibrant colors, abstract shapes, and dynamic lines. While the artist's original tag on the bottom right has unfortunately been graffitied over, older photographs confirm its authenticity.

Tragically, the Honolulu art community lost a talented member with the passing of Beak McFlaps in 2020. This mural, like his other works, serves as a lasting tribute to his creativity and enduring impact on the local art scene. RIP Beak McFlaps.
