In Hawaiian culture, PUEO (Hawaiin Owl), is a revered ,aumakua, or family guardian spirit.
It symbolizes protection, wisdom, and good fortune, often believed to be a messenger
of ancestral guidance and a harbinger of significant omens.
So the Pueo is the perfect symbol to safely guide the children of the Likelike Elementary school into the future.
