Metropolink part 32

The brothers Christoph and Florin Schmidt, graffiti writers since their youth, form the Berlin-based artist duo Low Bros. Stylized animal figures with human attributes are the focus of their works. Their animal heroes skate, wear sunglasses or caps and can thus be read as the personification of their generation of urban youth, with a sense of style, poses and the absolute will to be cool. Nevertheless, the reference to a naïve originality via the animal and nature motifs is always retained. The urban and the natural as well as the analogue and the digital merge in her works. In addition to their large-scale murals, Low Bros' works can also be seen again and again in galleries and group exhibitions.
