PichiAvo are a Valencian street-art duo who have gained international acclaim for their large-scale murals and sculptural installations that fuse classical art and Greek mythology with contemporary graffiti aesthetics. Since 2007, the pair have collaborated to make work that pays homage to the techniques and figuration of Renaissance masters. They add a modern finish to their works with vibrant bursts of colorful spray paint and lettering inspired by graffiti pioneers like Dondi and Crash. PichiAvo have installed works in Germany, Portugal, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Notable past projects include the Houston Bowery Wall in New York City and an 85-foot high sculpture for the Fallas Festival in their native Valencia, Spain. In addition to street art, PichiAvo also create mixed-media paintings and sculptures.
