Heerlen verliest zijn wilde haren niet

Temporary artwork made with window chalk by Miosis on a vacant retail shop as part of 'The city as a Playground'.

It's an actual ode to structural vacancy in the center of Heerlen. It's an opportunity for new (creative) innitiatives in the future and it lets Heerlen keep it's 'wild hairs). Hence the title of this work. Of course the title also a reference to the previous shop owner; Van Haren.

Also check out the poems about structural vacancy that have been added to the shopping window.

Miosis normally creates cool surrealistic illustrations on prints. Check out her work at her website.
