Relationship 6/7

A two-ton piece of Sierra granite on the corner of Matheson and Center Street. A crane lifted the Royce Meyerott sculpture, Relationship 6/7 or A Pair to Draw To, onto the stone pedestal in 1997. Describing the work, Meyerott said, “I let the act of splitting (the granite) define its outcome. The stone has more of a chance to speak for itself.”
