De rolluiken van restaurant Pocomatto werden in 2017 beschilderd door Bier en Brood, in samenwerking met Alley Gallerij.

Bier en Brood, dat zijn Koen Harmsma en Jelmer Noorderman. Ze halen hun inspiratie uit machines, natuur en architectuur. Hun stijl is vrij sinister, zelfs apocalyptisch en altijd in zwart-wit. Enkel te zien tijdens de sluitingsuren van Pocomatto, wanneer de rolluiken omlaag zijn.

'Cry me a river' van Apac is een eerbetoon aan de overleden lokale graffiti artist Jones.

Bij Pocomatto kan je sinds 1995 terecht voor 'probably the best pasta in town'. Een leuk interieur, lekkere pasta's en een informele, toffe sfeer zijn al jarenlang de kenmerken van het Italiaans restaurant.

Op de zijgevel is er ook een 'love wall', een traliewerk waarop koppetjes hun liefde kunnen vereeuwigen met een hangslotje. Net zoals dat vroeger op de 'liefdesbrug' in Parijs kon.

Pocomatto has been serving 'probably the best pasta in town' since 1995. A nice interior, delicious pasta and an informal, fun atmosphere have been the hallmarks of the Italian restaurant for years.

On the side wall, there is also a 'love wall', a lattice on which couples can immortalise their love with a padlock. Just like it used to be possible on the 'love bridge' in Paris.
